Svartzonker – Swedish Pike Lures Built from Passion

Svartzonker is a Swedish predator fishing brand founded by Claes “Svartzonker” Claesson, a passionate angler and lure designer whose creativity helped establish some of Scandinavia's most recognizable Northern Pike lures.

What began as one angler's obsession with designing effective fishing lures grew into a brand known for original shapes, bold color patterns, and a hands-on approach to predator fishing.

Among Svartzonker's most recognizable creations are the McTail and McRubber. The McTail combines a hard-bodied lure with an interchangeable soft tail, while the McRubber family includes oversized paddle-tail swimbaits designed to move substantial amounts of water and attract trophy Pike.

But Svartzonker's innovation extends well beyond traditional swimbaits.

The McShaker Pike is a distinctive bladed jig featuring a vibrating metal blade, hand-tied silicone skirt, and a large predator hook. Its combination of vibration, flash, and an erratic swimming action offers an alternative to conventional spinnerbaits.

Svartzonker's lineup also includes hard baits, topwater presentations, specialized predator rods, and accessories developed around the techniques used by Scandinavian anglers.

At Pike Pro Shop, our Svartzonker selection includes lures such as the McShaker, McCelly, and Squarepusher, bringing distinctive Swedish lure designs to American Northern Pike anglers.

Whether you're casting over shallow weed beds, exploring deeper structure, or looking for an unconventional presentation to trigger a trophy fish, Svartzonker offers a creative approach to pike fishing.
